EPILEPSY.
Very …

EPILEPSY.
Very common.
EEG/MRI tests not always the whole story.
Dejavu,gulping,dream-like state, no memory for like a minute.
Tegretol/carbamazapine.
PLEASE SEE A NEUROLOGIST
You have the power to get a diagnosis beyond a family physician as depression, schizo, etc.
Complex partial seizures are often mistaken for those.
Likely can be controlled,15 years of searching for answers and now mine are!
Temporal lobe may not show up on tests and has to be diagnosed by a neurologist.

I’ve had dibilitating spells for years and docs kept labelling me as depressed and anxious. In the end I paid for a private MRI scan and they found a tumor in my Temporal lobe. You’d think they’d take me seriously now, but nope!

I have seizures and am not epileptic. I have a brain tumor. Anaplastic Oligodendrglioma. Don’t assume that a person has epilepsy if they are having seizures.

I have had partial complex seizures my whole life and I just got off Topamax. I also take Klonopin. I know with both of those drugs you have to be very careful mixing any type of other stimulants or anything else with them because it can throw your body out of whack!! Also a few things that set off my seizures are alcohol, lack of sleep, and stress. I would see a doctor (neurologist) if your symptoms continue. :)
