cont.: so, …
cont.: so, eventually I will be able to tolerate junk food more: I mean, is that the point?
H.Pylori is a very …
H.Pylori is a very complex and uncomfortable issue, Nexium is not a simple solution to cure all, it does have weird side effects and is not for everyone. People should start question doctors and stop to just asking for prescription. Whose health is it anyway… my GI says I am keeping him on his toes. He actually told me I need not change diet, that eventually I will
Thank you!
Thank you!
Stop them from what …
Stop them from what? Trying to sell us stuff? Where can I buy prescription meds?
so lipids then
so lipids then
Iv’e never taken …
Iv’e never taken any of thjis crap. If I experience a possible sign of what might be considered “heartburn”, Il’l take a glass or two of water and that fixes me right up (I’m 65).
no, but all fat …
no, but all fat substances make it worst (especially animal fat).
indigestion is …
indigestion is caused by the same bacteria that causes ulcers. an aussie discovered it. they just give people anti biotics for it. problem gone. the american companies that sell indigestion drugs were pretty pissed.
Recently heard Rose …
Recently heard Rose Cole’s show on blogtalkradio called Hidden Cause of Stomach Aches, Gas, Bloating. She says LOW stomach acid (HCL) may be the root cause of acid reflux. Inadequate amts of HCL to digest proteins and dairy cause these foods to ferment in your stomach, forming pyruvic and lactic acids that DONT play a role in digestion. The food remains undigested, but these acids build and build, spilling into the esophagus causing heartburn. Pills just make it worse.
so it’s oil that …
so it’s oil that causes it?
It could be. I’m …
It could be. I’m not acknowledged but I checked PubMed and I see an interesting publication stating: These findings indicate all family members of H pylori-positive individuals should be assessed for H pylori positivity, particularly in developing countries where H pylori prevalence is high; they also suggest patients, their spouses and all H pylori-positive family members of H pylori-positive individuals should be treated for H pylori infection
hello please try …

“my family doctor …
“my family doctor instead says that 80-90% of people in developing countries have HP without symptoms”….
by the way, what is the life expectancy of a person in a developing country compared to the U.S? Could it be in part due to untreated medical problems such as H. Pylori? Severe gastritis can cause Barret’s Oesophagus which is a pre-malignant condition.
I would just skip …
I would just skip the breath test and do the gastroscopy. You may have a hiatus hernia down there.
Yes, I tried even …
Yes, I tried even to survive eating white rice and boiled meat only, withou oils of any type. Frustrating and without success. I guess badger’s advise of the triple therapy is the last hope.
I’ll do it for sure …
If this is negative I’ll do the endoscopic test to clear any doubt. And eventually the triple therapy. It’s all free here, exams and drugs as well.
I’ll do it for sure. I’m already in Italy (I watch English vids to learn) and I already *obliged* my reluctant physician to prescribe a breath test
Here’s a human with …
Here’s a human with critical thinking intact. Bravo…!
American’s are not …
American’s are not watching bombs go off in their home towns, they are not living in hovels ( most are not) , they are NOT suffering the stresses that 3rd world countries bare….and they use more medications to treat “whatever” than anywhere in the world ? You may be correct with what you have presented but I am quite tired of American’s whining about NOTHING and needing this med and that med and their children are on the meds too…it’s an epidemic of over medicating. Brainwashed ~
do you have this …
do you have this problem with all food? if not i might recommend dietary adjustments.
I agree with you …
I agree with you about the overuse of anti-anxiety medications and the like but Aspirin and statins are improving life expectancy for many people.
Corporations spend …
Corporations spend a lot of money trying to ensure that their products don’t casue death but they have to warn people of unlikely side effects because people sue for millions of dollars.
It may be true that …
It may be true that many people in developing countries have H.Pylori infection without symptoms. This may be due to a difference in their immune systems due to environmental factors as is suspected in atopic conditions such as asthma. I think I would try the triple therapy H. Pylori eradication therapy anyway. If you know anybody in Italy, why not go there for a holiday and get somebody to prescribe it for you or a family member…you know how it will be cheap….only if you are going there.
Even in italy some …
Even in italy some physicians do that. I wanted to do it but my family doctor instead says that 80-90% of people in developing countries have HP without symptoms, hence he’s against HP eradication. However I want to try it anyway, at this point. Better antibiotics for a week than PPI for life.
Gastritis is not …
Gastritis is not caused by over-eating, by and large. It is usually caused by Helicobacter Pylori. This guy is a hack. He sounds like an evangelist.
In Ireland, if you …
In Ireland, if you have a gastroscopy showing gastritis, they tend to put you on triple therapy for a week with the presumption that H. Pylori is the cause as it is in about 90% of cases.
